Established in 1977, l’Ecole Supérieure du Spectacle is a vocational training centre for artists. It brings pluridisciplinarity to light in order to train sound and self-sufficient perfomers.

 

 

 

Our teaching favours the work of body, because the awarness of internal and external space is the result of a deep understanding of one’s own body. These are the basics according to us, and this essential notion will turn out to be of use to each discipline, whatever its specific technique.

 

 

 

TECHNICAL TRAINING

 

Singing: vocal technique, pitching of voice, interpretation, directing.

Dance: bar on the ground, classical, modern, jazz, contemporary, improvisation, dance studios.

Theater: workshops, actor training, reading, diction, stage (classical and modern).

During the training, a large variety of disciplines is taken up in order to extend our student’s choices and possibilities.

 

THEORETICAL TRAINING

 

History of dance, theater and music, music theory.

Analysis and reflexion from famous author’s work and their conception of performing arts.

 

CREATIVE TRAINING

 

Development of creativity thanks to workshop.

Theatrical experiment through regular representations.

 

 

 

 

PROFESSIONAL APPROACH

 

Our teachers are all professional of performing arts. Whatever your standard may be, they will find time to make a sound and self-sufficient artist of you.

Our students appear in shows which are regulary organized by the school. For the next performances, please contact us.

 

PROFESSIONAL CONTACTS    

 

The school offers students a large variety of professional contacts to help them develop ther own experience and connections.

 

 

 

 

 

You can enrol for the school at different dates.

Our students are people of all ages and come from different countries.

 

The school cursus:

First year: preparatory year, discovery of training basis.

Second year: general thorough training, technique, reflection and creativity development.

Third year: year of orientation, preparing for diploma.

 

 

Intended for everybody: usually, one week in february, one in april, three in july, three in september, one in october and one in december. Several programmes are proposed (choices of dates or disciplines).

Intended for professional of performing arts: between october and june at least one week.

 

 

Procedures: a meeting with the president

                    a training period of 5 days.

Conditions:  it is an advantage to have firsthand experience in at least one of our three disciplines.

 

 

The training includes at least 30 hours of classes per week and 30 weeks per year.
